Royden McWha - Osteopath
Royden graduated from Unitec NZ with a Bachelors and Masters degree in 2005. He chose to start his osteopathic career by being a locum for various clinics, to learn from pivotal members of the osteopathic profession and to help him establish what he wanted from his own clinic. As co-director of Kingsland Osteopaths, Royden is excited to have created an inviting and relaxing clinic, where patients can feel welcome, and safe in the knowledge that they will be cared for in a professional manner. Royden brings to the team a dedication to help his patients, a thorough understanding of high level sport (having played provincial level hockey), and provides a male balance in an otherwise female dominated team!
Kristi Milliken - Osteopath
Kristi graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor and Masters degree from Unitec NZ and began working at Kingsland Osteopaths alongside one of Auckland's leading paediatric and cranial osteopaths. Kristi is passionate about working with pregnant women, babies and children, and says "it is a privilege to work with mothers during this special time, and to offer them a medication free approach to their pregnancy and to start their child's life". With a background in competition sport, Kristi also enjoys the challenge of working with sportspeople to improve performance through improved musculo-skeletal alignment.
Rebecca Hancock - Osteopath
Rebecca graduated in 2006 completing the Bachelors and Masters degree from Unitec New Zealand. Rebecca brings a sports focus to her osteopathic practice; having previously studied Sports Science at Auckland University, and her work as a qualified Personal Trainer. This combination of skills gives Rebecca a thorough understanding of injury mechanics, and the ability to give guidance and training advice to allow full recovery and future injury prevention. Rebecca is also passionate about working with children, and enjoys being able to help provide a natural and healthy start to life.
Natalie Griffiths - Osteopath
Natalie studied at the British School of Osteopathy and graduated in 2004, before moving to New Zealand to begin practice. Natalie has worked within a large osteopathic clinic in Waitakere, multiple clinics whilst locuming in Brisbane, and is a clinical tutor in Unitec’s Masters of Osteopathy degree. Natalie is an enthusiastic and dedicated osteopath and very passionate about her work. She enjoys using all forms of osteopathy in her treatments - structural, visceral and cranial techniques to provide successful treatment for a breadth of conditions and injuries. Natalie is passionate about health and fitness, and enjoys an active sporting lifestyle. She also has a depth of knowledge in nutrition; and is a great source of advice in these areas for her patients.
Jenny Hogg - Receptionist
Jenny is a long standing team member, and brings valuable experience from her previous roles within medical clinics and her work as a Karatane nurse. Jenny enjoys her reception duties and looking after the team at Kingsland Osteopaths - a role that comes naturally to a mother and grandmother! She is always delighted to see children and babies in our clinic, and will happily mind them whilst mum or dad is having their treatment.
