natural solutions for your health and lifestyle
a small friendly team, focused on helping you
we take a very holistic approach to wellness

Who We Are

We are a small friendly team who offer natural pain relief and improved mobility for every age group from newborn babies through to the elderly.

Whether the problem is physical (like a sports injury) or more internal (like a headache or infant reflux) we can offer help to get things back to normal. One of the things that sets us apart is that – even if we really like you – we don’t want you to keep coming back to see us. We are always working to get you back to good health as quickly as possible, and if that’s not happening we will bring in our colleagues for second opinions or refer on to the appropriate specialist.

What We Do

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a manual therapy technique used to stretch, mobilise, reposition, balance and get you back to good health.

Osteopaths look at health in a different way to other practitioners. We provide a comprehensive approach to healing the whole person, rather than only managing the symptoms. This often results in a faster recovery, as we can address other areas of the body that may be contributing to the initial problem. We work in half hour appointments where we ask questions about your medical history, maybe use some orthopaedic or neurological tests, check the way you walk, and work out what is troubling you and why.

Then we get onto the good stuff – using various different hands-on techniques to help get rid of your pain, always working with the level of manipulation you feel comfortable with. The number of treatments required is specific to each person, injury and condition but we can give you an estimate of this in the first consultation. We also give advice regarding work habits, exercise and possible need for x-rays or other health professional consultation or medical investigations to try an minimise any reoccurrence.

Back & Neck Pain

Back pain. We all get it from time to time, and we all wish we didn’t. It can vary from mild discomfort to significant pain and disability and can affect the way we feel, work and live.

Headaches & Migraines

Headaches are a really common complaint, and although for some they may be short-lived, for others they can be far more debilitating and long term.

Pregnancy & Babies

All kinds of challenges can pop up in pregnancy, and in the early stage of a baby’s life. Osteopathy can help. more

Sports Osteopathy

Osteopathy works very well for sports injuries, and we particularly enjoy those challenging injuries that just aren’t getting better with any other treatment.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial osteopathy has been around for a long time, but recently it has become more popular – especially for treating babies.

Testimonials

Having seen a number of different practitioners for a particular injury, including a physiotherapist, acupuncturist and another osteopath, I found Kingsland Osteopaths. They were recommended by my acupuncturist because they had resolved a chronic problem in a friend's foot no one had been able to help with. I was impressed by the attention to detail, professionalism and easy-to-talk-to approach I received. I am now pain free and have full use of my foot again. I will not hesitate to return to Kingsland Osteopaths for any musculo-skeletal problems in the future.

Kristi, you have given me back my life. For the first time in six years I feel pain free and human again. Thank you!

Anna, Mother

Not only is Kingsland Osteopaths an incredibly relaxing place to set foot in, the osteopaths are top-notch. You realise the minute they put their hands on you that they know what they're doing. They've been incredibly helpful with my back problems. The holistic approach, the calm method and the knowledge of more than just bones appeals to my sense that the body can perform healing miracles if it gets a bit of help. Thanks for providing that help.

Jason, Manager

I came in to Kingsland Osteopaths with a sore upper back, which Royden kindly informed me was due to incorrect posture sitting at my desk. Within a couple of visits I was feeling great again. Thanks Kingsland Osteopaths!

Craig J

I have found, as a regular client of Kingsland Osteopaths, that neck and back issues I have had for some years have improved dramatically and continue to do so. I've also noticed a vast improvement in my daughter's health through regular treatments. She now has great sleeping patterns and her energy levels are so much higher than in the past.

Jo, General Manager and Mother

I rang Kingsland Osteopaths when my daughter developed colic at six weeks old, and was put at ease immediately – even over the phone. When we went in for the first appointment I was certain I'd come to the right place. The osteopath not only had amazing skills with newborn babies but my quite distressed wee girl was just so comfortable and relaxed in her capable hands. She explained all the treatments she was using, and got us some excellent results. Thanks so much for bringing peace to us all.

Nic and baby Tui, Web Client

I highly recommend Kingsland Osteopaths and have found them to be highly knowledgeable not just in osteopathic treatment but also nutrition and lifestyle. They always take time to find out exactly what they are dealing with, you don't just feel like another number. My neck pain has greatly improved after just three treatments. There is parking and the clinic is very peaceful and clean.
